My name is Ellyse, the creator of EllysiumIllustration!
Ellysium Illustration was born from my name, Ellyse—merged with "Elysium," a place of ideal beauty and creativity. My goal is to create illustrations that feel otherworldly, capturing the magic of life’s most special moments and giving you and your guests a piece of Ellysium..

Why choose me as your illustrator you may be thinking?
Firstly, I'm not just your illustrator, I'm your hype woman, your cheerleader, your positive gal, I like to think I bring the vibes to your day. I will go above and beyond to create a beautiful experience for you and your guests.
I like to think I fit in seamlessly, you won't even know I'm there until you hear shocked screams of delights from your guests! I know my way round all the north east venues and have good relationships with them all, know the best places to set up and dismiss and will seamlessly integrate into your day.
I'm also a yapper, meaning I will get to know your guests and it's a personal experience, that your guests will feel confident coming back to to check on progress and enjoy the experience.
If there is a wedding dog, I'm sorry but I MUST illustrate the most IMPAWTANT guest first and I'm utterly dog obsessed!
I'm a trained primary school teacher (that was my previous job, teaching year 4's and 5's), meaning any children on the day will have a close eye on them (haha)! But seriously, my previous role means I'm organised and will not be ghosting replies or enquiries, I pretty much live on my instagram account so I love to chat and reply quickly, so honestly talk to me ANYTIME!
Alongside Illustrating, I do like to take BTS content of your day for my own socials but also it's nice sometimes capturing the moments you may miss, like guest reactions or the moments before you walk down the aisle. Similarly, I like to think I have a keen eye for detail so I like to capture these small moments within illustration (floral details, cute tattoos anything really).
When you book with me, you get all of this but also a friend and supporter for life, I love to watch my couples grow together and still frequently message my couples about their life achievements, honestly I'm your cheerleader for life!
How was Ellysium created?
While I was planning for my own future wedding, I was looking at possible local live illustrators to do this, however struggled to find many or styles I liked! So with my background in design I thought hey why not give it a shot, here I am! Thankful that this is my full time job and love running my own business.

Pepsi Max owns my soul. Oh, and iced coffee. Specifically Starbucks iced coffee — I spent an alarming percentage of my teacher salary in there. Therapy might have been cheaper, honestly.
Foodie things
I’m a sucker for amazing food, cute little cafes, and picturesque walks. I actually document a lot of this on my Instagram (@geordiegallivanting) if you fancy seeing what I get up to!

The Office US, Parks and Rec, Game of Thrones, Taskmaster, and yes... Hannah Montana. No shame.
Cocktails
Give me an Aperol Spritz, Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri, or a whole bottle of prosecco and I'm thriving. Bonus points if it's a bottomless brunch.
Hobbies
Anything creative. Painting, illustrating, and I love drawing nudie body figures (it’s my fave, don’t judge). Also, a good ol’ paint ‘n sip night is my idea of heaven.
Fangirl Energy
A little (okay, a lot) obsessed with Sam Fender. Like, if he needs someone to design his wedding stationery one day — call me, Sam.
Fitness-ish
I try to swim a few times a week, go for walks or to the gym to counteract my love for food — emphasis on try.
